Giving The Gift Of Mandala Magic

Every now and then, you receive an opportunity that you just cannot pass up. And a couple of weeks ago, I received an opportunity just like that.

Julie Gibbons, who is one of my dearest friends and soulful creatrix of the wonderfully juicy program Mandala Magic, proposed a Scholarship Swap.

So, the basic idea is that I sponsor a scholarship for Mandala Magic for 1 year, and Julie will sponsor a scholarship for a 1 year REGULAR membership for my Goddess Guidance Group. And truly, it was an immediate, heart-felt, joyful YES!!

Knowing that I will be gifting to some lucky person a whole year of this incredibly inspiring and creatively rich work, just completely thrills me. And here’s why….

Julie Gibbons makes magic. Not the airy fairy kind. But the real kind. The kind that invites, inspires, uplifts and excites. The kind that reminds you of who you really are beyond the roles, the responsibilities and the expectations. And I know this because Julie is one of my heart’s best treasures, a soul sister, a kindred spirit.

But the reason I am sponsoring a place on Julie’s Mandala Magic course **for a whole year**, aside from the fact that I want to gift the experience of Julie’s special brand of magic to someone, is that I know the quality of Julie’s work. I’ve been friends with Julie for years, and in that time, I have seen her “walk her talk”, I have received the depth of her wisdom, her compassion, her humour, and I have been consistently impressed with the way she lives her creative life. Translated through the medium of mandalas, we’re talking something really very special here. And I want you to experience it for yourself.

If mandalas are completely new to you, or you have explored them in the past, you are in good hands with Julie as she takes you through The Great Round of Mandala: an exploration of the cycles of self, where you will uncover and connect with your unique collection of and attraction to symbols and archetypes – your personal mythology.

According to Carl Jung, a mandala is the psychological expression of the totality of self. And throughout Mandala Magic you will learn how to interpret the mandala and engage fully in your symbolic life. Such an amazing journey you will be going on!!

During 2014, as a member of Mandala Magic you will… 

• Explore the 12 archetypal stages of the Great Round of Mandala
• Create (at least) 12 individual Mandalas
• Activate your unconscious wisdom
• Uncover your personal symbology
• Reveal the patterns and designs of your emerging self
• Learn how to interpret your creations
• Explore the psychology of self
• Connect with your intuitive creativity
• Establish a monthly art journal practice
• Inspire your journey towards wholeness
• Participate in a private Facebook group (optional)
• Gather together each month in a virtual circle (optional)

Being in the position to offer a fully paid place on this program is such a great honour for me, and it is my deepest wish that whoever the lucky winner is, that it serves them deeply as it reveals the very rich expression of what it means to be you.

What one lucky winner will receive every month for a year as a Mandala Magic participant:

• Introduction to the archetypal stage for the month
• Introduction to an aspect of the psychology of self or art therapy
• Art video (30 mins – 1.5hrs)
• Downloadable PDF (approx 2o page, full colour) with mandala exercise instructions
• Before and after journal prompts for reflection
• Each stage is discussed in the Facebook Group, with additional weekly prompts.
• Every month, students are invited to an hour-long online Gathering.
