Introducing Red Thread Voices
So, you may have noticed that things have been decidedly quiet on this front. No blogposts, precious few newsletters… and yet, in the background, there’s been a brewing and birthing process unfolding.
In April, I left my beloved Scotland for a 2 week Californian adventure with my soul sister Kathleen Prophet. The timing was perfect, as I was feeling really drained, really malnourished. You know this feeling, I’m sure – like too little butter spread across too much toast.
After days of feeling the sun sink into my skin, of seeing new things, of speaking out ideas and thoughts, of deepening into my own sense of self, I came home, and knew that things were going to change. And they have.
This week saw the result of that change when I launched Red Thread Voices – a publishing house that offers a home to the exiled-feminine – a place where we celebrate and amplify the voices of women in their whole and full expression.
Next month is the 5th anniversary of the day I received my phd – and it feels like it’s taken 5 years to fully process some of the gifts from that experience. A publishing house of my own is one of these gifts.
