A Birthday Launch – Bloom By Moon
Today is my 35th birthday. Isn’t time such an incredibly weird thing. I’m sitting here with the realisation that I have been on this planet for 35 years already. 35 years! And yet, it doesn’t feel like 35 years… whatever 35 years might feel like. Anyway, normally on my birthday, I offer a Pay What You Can Sale. But this year, I wanted to do something different. And so… I am releasing BLOOM BY MOON!!! Now, if you’ve known me for a while, you’ll know that BLOOM BY MOON is not new. I lived and wrote this material in 2011, and it formed part of an e-course that I then…

Why You Benefit When I Eat Chocolate
The women arrived one by one carrying gifts of food. One thing you can always rely upon with a women’s circle is that you will be well-fed. Some arrive confidently. Some holding low-level anxiety close. Some exhausted. Some joyous. We all arrive as we are and are well met in this space, this Autumn Equinox. Because today is the day that we have gathered to experience the gift of feminine spiritual practice facilitated by alchemical chocolate, all beautifully offered and guided by Annu Tara. I have met Ixcacao, the goddess of this amazing sacred plant, once before, back at the beginning of the year. She took me on a magical…

Where Even The Gulls Don’t Fly
I wrote this piece a while back, but it seemed a perfect accompaniment to the selfie I made today… With one hand outstretched, palm opened, dim light gently resting against luminescent skin, I am floating in the darkness, in the mystery. Perhaps there’s been a decision to surrender. Or maybe it was just my time. The water laps rhythmically at the edges of my mind – the cold clean clarity it offers is tantalisingly close, and yet I’m not even sure that I want it. I seem to prefer this fog, this untethered place – a boat released from its moorings to drift at the mercy of the currents.…

Maybe They Needed To Be Triggered: The Creative Impulse & Why You Need to Keep Sharing
Ix Chel stepped forward for my Goddess Guidance group today. She’s a creativity goddess whose energy is that of the upturned urn that ever flows – the womb that continually births new life, new energy into the world. As is so often the case when a goddess steps forward, she begins to show up in a number of surprising ways. Like this morning when my daughter, out of the blue, stated how, when she creates something new, she feels compelled to strive towards her own vision of perfection. Things have to be neatly finished off, fashioned cleanly, the form beautifully expressed and elegantly ended. I shared with her my favourite…

First There Was New York – Next Stop Paris?
Now you might remember that last week I shared that 3 of my selfies had been selected as part of an exhibition in New York. Well, the same organisation See:Me is pulling together an exhibition in Paris. And I’d really love to be there. I’ve submitted 9 of my most recent selfies which I’ve created using double exposures, like the one above. I’m mixing together two images – a selfie and one other – to create a new image, one that situates myself in my environment. Why am I telling you all this? Well, because I’d really appreciate your vote for the People’s Choice Award. If you feel called to…
