    Postal Poetry

Received the most beautiful poem through my letterbox this morning from Deborah Weber reminding me that “pleasure is a thing that also needs accomplishing”. Don’t you just love how real mail, delivered from heart to hand to hand to heart by way of international postal systems, leaves you feeling blessed and loved and cared for?

    Morning-lit Lighthouse

The harbour is so very beautiful today. It’s beautiful every day, but, today, it is so calm, the skies so blue, the waves so subtle, the reflections so perfect – complete. Walking outside, I felt the warmth from the sun. It was almost like the rays of 2013 had finally strengthened enough for them to soak through the fabric of my clothes, the strands of my hair, the cells of my skin. The season is slipping into spring. And it feels like bliss.

    The Roar of the Goddess

In our time, the Goddess has come roaring out of her hiding places – for it is also the nature of the feminine to roar – and we are beginning to recognize uniquely feminine kinds of power. We sense that something profoundly important is missing from a world in which the power of the divine feminine is not understood and in which women themselves are out of touch with their own Shakti, the force of feminine strength and the flavors of feminine love.
