Want To Play A Game?
Ok, my lovelies, to celebrate the next round of the Practical Magic Business Circle opening in just 2 weeks time, I have something a little different for you… a wee game. Want to play? Now, you may be wondering what on earth goddesses have to do with running a successful business in the 21st century. I know what a difference they can make, but if you’ve never worked with them before, I completely understand that the concept might seem a little strange. But here’s the thing… The goddesses each provide a window on the world – a way of looking at things. And with each goddess comes a new perspective,…

Wishes, Intentions, Prayers
Stepping across the threshold, we all instantly fell into a reverential hush. And then even our whispers melted into silent awe as our eyes adjusted to the interior of the church. It wasn’t fancy. Or elaborate. Certainly not ostentatious. Why Launching While On Holiday Has Turned Out To Be A Grand Idea
Last week, I flew out to France to spend a few weeks at my parents’ place in a wee village just outside Cognac in the beautiful Charentaise countryside. Remembering Sekhmet
“I am Sekhmet – I respect what is mine. And I respect that which is not. I claim my own. And I release that which does not belong to me. Deep clarity and the energy of profound discernment. The capacity to speak a strong no, so that my yes can hold full conviction. This. This is mine to give.” Our final goddess Sekhmet steps forward for the Practical Magic Business Circle – vital, primal, focused. She is the fierce mumma goddess, and I have to admit, that when she first stepped forward I was both thrilled and more than a little intimidated. She has some big energy! This is how…

Remembering Amaterasu
“Bringer of light, giver of gifts, I am called to deliver that which is mine to offer. And I do so freely and with great love. I give my gift and recognise it for the beautiful unique offering that it is. It holds my essence – and I honour it for that.” Our fifth goddess is Amaterasu – the Japanese sun goddess known as Shining Heaven – and she is the one who I think will prove to be an incredibly important goddess for the next Practical Magic Business Circle. This is how I described her before… Shinto goddess of the sun, Amaterasu’s story speaks to us of the experiences…
