    Words, Words, Words

So, what exactly is this business of a word for the year? Do you need one? Will it help? What’s the point? Words are incredibly powerful talismans – portals through which much magic enters into the world. The speaking of a word, the act of naming things, is a well known tool for gaining power. By choosing a word for yourself, you are determining what you want to attract into your world. You are spinning the thread of your own destiny. Of course, as with all these things, we are not able to see the finer details; we are not privy to the way the chips will fall. However, we…

    Sharing My 2012 Word(s)

My word has become three words. Adjective – OPEN Verb – DANCE Noun – CHANNEL Let me explain… OPEN Over the last few months I have spent many hours knitting. The yarn has looped around my needles, becoming intertwined, forming itself into fabric which consists of the repeating patterns of yarn and open space. I have become fascinated by these open spaces. The fact that they are both present within the fabric, and yet they are only present through an absence. Coming Out of the Woo Woo Closet

Last year I signed up to Jamie Ridler’s Circe’s Circle – it was 10 weeks of gentle but deep transformation, at the end of which I climbed out of the woo woo closet and into the open. Now, I’ve done a lot of scary things in my life, and believe me when I tell you, my lovely, but that was right up there with the scariest! What on earth would everyone think of me if I told them I did intuitive readings for friends, offered angel healings to those in need and regularly saw orbs of light dancing around the passengers on the lower decks of LRT buses!? And while…

    My Birthday Gift For You

This is the moment that the sun rose up from behind the horizon, and the first rays lit up my 33rd birthday. I can’t really explain why, but today feels really important. More important, perhaps than other birthdays. Almost like it’s loaded with a significance that’s beyond my understanding. That’s why I got up early and watched the sun slip into the day. It’s also why I want to give you a gift. I’ve been sharing all last week excerpts from the 6 goddess stories from my new more-than-just-a-book Virgins & Lovers: Ancient Wisdom for the Modern Goddess. However, another major component of this product is the visualisations. So, I…

    Introducing Aphrodite

It is said that when the sea birthed Aphrodite from its blue depths, even the waves bowed their foamy heads to her exquisite beauty. She rose up through the roiling waters, the sea-salt spray, full-formed and radiant. Her pearlescent skin shone as sunbeams danced across her unparalleled loveliness, and her long blonde hair swirled around the perfection of her naked body. She was carried across the surface of the ocean, held aloft upon an enormous scallop shell, accompanied by two dolphins as she approached the shore. We, of course, were waiting for her. We are the Graces, and if ever there was a goddess deserving of our attention, it was…
