Beautiful Beliefs 1: I believe that…
…magic happens in circles of women.
I’ve seen this many times. Women arrive in the circle, some comfortable in their own skin, eager to turn up, tune in, connect. Others nervous, tugging on sleeves, eyes lowered. Some bouncing with energy, and others world-weary, heart-sore. Some fully present, others distracted.
And yet, something happens when our bodies settle and we form our circle. The shape of our collective creating a womb space, our heartbeats synchronising, the energy resonating at our very core.
In this space we share truths, we cry tears, we howl with laughter, we express our anger, we confess our fears, we enter into deep communion with one another.
It doesn’t seem to matter how we arrive in the circle, because when we leave the circle we have harmonised with the note of the divine feminine. We have opened a portal for magic to enter the world, and we each take a bit of that magic home to our families, our partners, our friends, our colleagues. We take that magic out into the world.
This is my first Beautiful Beliefs post. If you would like to share your own, simply complete the sentence ‘I believe that….’ on your blog, explore a little about where that belief comes from and how it expresses itself in your life, and then come back here and leave a link in the box below and share it with everybody here.

I had intended to write my beliefs as comments on your page Amy, but my comment turned out rather longer than I expected so here’s my blog post on the subject – actually my first ever proper blog post! So I hope you like it!

Amy, this is a wonderful idea and I’m thrilled to play along! It’s an emotional day for me and my beliefs, so I appreciate the opportunity and excuse to vent and share. And yes, women’s circles ARE magic. So much. My Thursday group is an absolutely non-negotiable part of my week. I go to recharge and reconnect and refill my magic bag. Without that sacred time, I don’t function as well in the rest of my week.

My secret blog is no longer secret. Scary and exhilarating at the same time.
